Job description

We are looking for a competent dental assistant who will make the dentist’s office more efficient and pleasant for patients. Dental assistants should be well-organized with great attention to detail. The ideal candidate must have a strong work ethic. You will be expected to accomplish tasks independently while working as part of a team.

Duties and responsibilities

• Ensure that OSHA and CDC guidelines are followed when cleaning/sterilizing instruments and workstations.
• Prepare all necessary trays for dental procedures.
• Take and develop X-rays.
• Assist dentists during dental procedure in an efficient and professional manner.
• Explain post-op instructions to patients in a clear and concise manner.

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant with X-ray License.
• Working knowledge and experience in all phases of dental procedures.
• Demonstrated ability with 4-handed dentistry.
• Bilingual Chinese or Bilingual Spanish
• Familiar with digital radiography (Preferred)

• California Practice Act Certificate

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
