We are growing!! Dr. Ryan Shaw's office at Dental Associates is looking for a professional, patient-centric and positive Dental Hygienist to join our to join our team. Our goal is to utilize a team approach and provide quality dental care with compassion and integrity to all patients. We use Open Dental and Dexis.

Dental Hygienist Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain treatment room, adhering to prescribed procedures and protocols.
• Welcome patient for dental hygiene treatment in a warm and caring manner.
• Promote dental health by completing dental prophylaxis, providing oral cancer screening, radiographic studies, fluoride application and charting conditions of disease and decay.
• Properly diagnose and treat periodontal disease.
• Educate patients by providing oral hygiene, plaque control, and postoperative instructions.
• Schedule patients for their return dental hygiene appointments, emphasizing the importance of how their oral health relates to their overall health.

Dental Hygienist Qualifications/Skills:

• Licensed to practice dental hygiene in the state of Iowa
• CPR certification

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $38.00 - $44.00 per hour
