Certified law enforcement officers may be given a higher starting wage at the discretion of the Sheriff
Qualifications: High school graduate or GED.; no conviction of a felony; valid driver's license; must be 21 years old and a U.S. Citizen.
Applicants who meet minimum qualifications listed on the application will be eligible for the written testing. Testing will be conducted on Friday, May 19, Saturday, May 20 and Saturday, May 27, 2023 .

Employees must work a least 30 hours per week to be eligible for insurance benefits.
Vacation leave, sick leave, and holidays are prorated for part time employees based upon the hours worked per week.
Temporary, seasonal, and on-call employees are not eligible for benefits.
