Primary Objective:
Designs and develops learning solutions across a variety of topics such as product knowledge, workflows/processes, technical systems, professional and management development. Works in collaboration with Program Managers and Subject Matter Experts to design and develop instructionally sound learning material to address specific needs within the organization or defined target objectives. Participates in the following phases of the learning solution lifecycle: analysis, design, development and evaluation.

Responsibilities:

• Assesses the training and development needs and develops training interventions that enable Spectrio to close performance gaps or improve quality and productivity related to performance
• Creates measurable course objectives and goals. Follows up on the impact of previous training initiatives to determine if new performance issues exist.
• Maintains flexibility and adjusts project plans as needed to meet business unit goals
• Prepares detailed information for different types of audiences and skill sets.
• Determines the best method for delivery of training and follows trends in the training field in order to provide the best and latest techniques.
• Updates and revises training materials and resets priorities and the use of various resources to meet changing needs and goals.
• Design and develop training programs, curriculum, methods and materials for various audiences.
• Collects input to identify training and development needs, goals, gaps etc.
• Works closely with SME's to ensure training content is accurate and applicable.
• Assists in evaluation/maintenance of software tools used for training.
• Establishes metrics to measure training effectiveness.
• Coach trainers on new material to ensure understanding.
• Works in conjunction with the L&D team to maintain the LMS.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Travel up to 10% of the time

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Training and Development, or a related field required.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of training and development experience required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong written communication and sharp editorial skills.
• Adept with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods.
• Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives.
• Ability to design and implement effective training and development.
• Conduct internal reviews of educational content and document suggestions for content enhancements..
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Paylocity experience preferred.
• Knowledge of instructional design systems and experience with Google Suite.
