Basic Purpose:
Design and Release WH Engineer for Ford 2021, 22, 23, CD6 program (Explorer/Aviator)
Qualifications/Requirements:
- 4-year BSEE/BSME or equivalent degree with experience as a wire harness Release Engineer.
- 3 year plus wire harness (EDS engineer) experience (Ford experience preferred).
Responsibilities:
- Support of Ford development (Internal and External Customer Perspective)
- Achieve program internal design/development expectation thought product realization process.
- Support manufacturing design reviews/master sample reviews for respective harness.
- Comprehend/mark/sign off 2D WH drawing,
- Identify, track, and resolve open issues.
- Good communications, time management and interpersonal skills required, support day to day activities/customer request.
- Participate/support cross functional team meetings/document/track/distribute lessons learned.
- Interface directly with external customer-PMT, PAT, customer engineers and launch team.
- Interface with systems engineers and 3D designers to develop and validate WH designs.
- Interface with internal customer SEWS/SWS cross functional groups, program managers and division management.
- Support 100% on-time print release for all program milestones as identified in SEWS development timing plan.
