Mandere Construction was founded in 1992 and serves the Inland Northwest as the premier framing company in the area. We are sought after by the best of the best in the building industry and are trusted to complete framing, siding and wall panel projects of all sizes. While we are locally managed and operated and we have the privilege of being part of the Kodiak Building Partners portfolio of companies. We are looking to add to our Wall Panel Production Team. This position is responsible for the coordination, prioritization and drawing of Wall Panel Designs that will keep our wall panel shop working at capacity. The successful candidate will demonstrate a good working knowledge of construction principles, have good attention to detail and take initiative while working effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

• Ensure that component designs are accurately input based on customer plans while optimizing the designs to save on material/ labor and conforming to code and company standards.

• Create and Maintain Checklists to ensure that designs are checked for company standards before being sent out

• Request information needed for drawings from clients.
• Prepare detailed drawings and documentation to enable the correct and efficient construction of projects on site and in compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
• Problem solving of construction issues identified during the design and engineering process.
• Work with customer representatives to ensure correct engineering of details in line with customer and company requirements.
• Provide support to manufacturing personnel to ensure projects are manufactured in an accurate and timely manner.
• Maintain a system of management and ensure deadlines are met.

Qualifications and Skills

We are looking for a flexible, detail-oriented team player with the ability to manage multiple tasks, produce quality work, and consistently meet deadlines. The successful candidate will possess:

· Working Knowledge and Experience using Alpine Design Software (Minimum of 2+ years preferred)

· Excellent ability to understand and interpret construction drawings

· Ability to effectively communicate with architects, engineers, customers, and team members both orally and in writing.

· Ability to work in a team setting, accepting instruction/direction from other team members.

• Ability to manage several projects at once, organize and prioritize work, meet deadlines, and prepare final panel drawings.

· Multi-family Project experience preferred.

· Demonstrated knowledge of wood frame construction.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
