We are looking for a Desktop Support Engineer that will provide technical assistance to our clients. You will help install, upgrade and troubleshoot hardware and software systems. To succeed in this role, you should have a problem-solving attitude along with the ability to give clear technical instructions. You should be familiar with remote troubleshooting techniques. Ultimately, you will ensure prompt and accurate customer service and increase client satisfaction.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create and Maintain images for Windows based devices
• Solutions to improve imaging processes through technology
• Create packages to deploy software patches and updates
• Document all processes related to role
• Troubleshoot and correct escalated issues from Level One Support
• Move users data and configurations as needed
• Deploy scanners and printers as needed
• Image new devices and deploy to users
• Assist with Senior Level Management and Help Desk tasks

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• 2 years’ experience with installing and troubleshooting Windows 7-11
• 2 years’ experience in a scripting language such as powershell, python or javascript
• Knowledge of the basic principles of TCP/IP v4 networking (TCP/IP v6 a plus) such as DHCP, static IP
• Experience and prefer hands-on activities such as computer assembly
• Experience with any kind of imaging software (Ghost, Clonezilla, macrium) “Microsoft Deployment Tools” preferred
• Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
