Senior Developer / Tech Lead- AWS Node JS developer

Experience: 8+ years direct experience in critical application technical support, user communication, software development and implementation. Minimum 5 years’ experience as techn-functional liaison with business stakeholders and product owners.

Minimum 5 years of experience supporting and enhancing secure, full-stack Java and AWS cloud solutions.

Education: BS/MS/ BCA/MCA in related Engineering or Computer Science degree from an accredited college

Work Authorization: Authorized to work in USA without Sponsorship.

Technical skills:

Required: AWS, Node JS - AWS AppSync, Lambda, VPC, CF, WAF– and PostgreSQL, GIT

Preferred: LogRocket, Data Dog, SonarQube, AG-Grid.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead DevOps application support coordination and troubleshooting for customer payments site and business process to ensure payment processing and site availability
• Coordinate with product owner on priorities and with offshore team to execute RCA of incidents and Jira Stories to enhance the application or do implement improvements to address recurring issues.
• Must be highly responsive and operate with a sense of urgency when high priority incidents impacting the payments process are encountered.
• Requires being hand’s on to triage and perform RCA or fix code.
• Requires coordination across with middleware and boundary application teams to ensure root cause is addressed comprehensively and correctly.
• Establish and maintain strong relationship with business owners/product owners.
• Lead customer interactions and related communications via email, Incident Management tool and JIRA.
• Must be able to communicate and lead effectively via telephone/remote and in person.
• Ensures commitments are met while providing high quality and and timely resolution or enhancements that meet customer’s expectations.
• Full stack hand-on AWS Cloud development for web based applications including system analysis, test driven application development, test automation, code review and application maintenance support.
• Adheres to SOLID and Clean Architecture principles
• Demonstrate deployments of enterprise or consumer-facing software systems using industry standard solutions
• Hands on development experience and full understanding of app development pipeline and process including development of applications that interface with backend technologies.
• Provide oversight, leadership and mentoring for application support technical team members while leveraging mandated corporate policies and standards.
• Excellent analysis skills and the ability to develop processes and methodologies
• Understanding various non-functional aspects in mobile application design and provide a solution to optimize performance, scalability etc.
• Take ownership of the solution from end to end, and be responsible for translating functional requirements into a mobile solution
