Job Description:

Candidate will assist in defining/implementing containerization strategies and provide input in enhancing docker roadmap to align with best practices. The candidate will work on building and modifying CI/CD pipelines to support containerization, scaling, and monitoring.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in migrating existing applications to docker
• Create and enhance CI/CD pipelines from app servers to docker hosts
• Responsible for integrating and defining containerization technologies
• Build, scale and monitor highly scalable applications
• Keep up to date with the latest docker design patterns

Required Skills:

• 3+ years of experience with Docker
• 2+ years of experience in managing CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps
• Experience in Microsoft environment (.NET/IIS/ASP.NET)
• Knowledge of scripting languages (PowerShell, Batch, Python)
• Systems administration and operations experience on Windows
• Experience in building and maintaining highly available systems
• Excellent verbal communication skills with proven fluency in English
• Experience in combining Docker with monitoring and logging tools

Strongly Preferred Skills:

• Experience working with Mirantis Container Runtime (MCR)
• Knowledge of logging/monitoring tools like Splunk, log4net

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with shell environments (cmd, bash)
• Experience with programming languages (C#, Node.js, Angular)

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
