Responsible to the Food Service Director for the preparation of all salads, desserts, hot and cold food items to be served to our residents. Serving all items at the proper temperatures and ensuring that the salads and desserts are fresh and assembled based on daily needs. Responsible for the safe operation of dish machine, the cleanliness of the dishes and general sanitation of the kitchen. Maintaining the cleanliness of all equipment and work areas used.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Utilizes proper food handling and food service techniques
Take meal/drink orders and serve meals in a friendly and timely manner
Assures resident/guest is satisfied with their meals
Maintains all side stations and dining areas following cleaning standards
Follow daily and weekly cleaning schedules
Practice all safety and loss prevention procedures
Sets up and cleans the dining room while maintaining hospitality and service standards
Maintain or exceed standards of appearance, cleanliness, personal sanitation, and hygiene
Dependable and able to meet schedule requirements (attendance and punctuality)
Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
