Dietitian, Part-Time
We are seeking a candidate for the role of Dietitian to provide support to food service operations at their assigned facility. Responsibilities include:
They will ensure quality nutritional services are provided on a daily basis and that the dietary department is maintained in a clean, safe and sanitary manner- Interact with other departments to ensure safe and superior food service and delivery and nutritional care of residents
- Perform associate, resident, and community education as needed, desired
- Review care of residents for the purpose of determining nutritional needs, appropriate plan of care, and minimizing nutritional complications
- Ensure implementation of menus and appropriate preparation of menu items using standardized recipes in compliance with regulations and therapeutic diet orders
- Maintain timely resident charting per regulations
- Ensure preparation of menu items in compliance with OBRA and Title 22 regulations and with therapeutic diet orders
- Provide support and oversight to Food Service Department operations
- Participate in surveys (inspections) made by authorized government agencies
Pay: $30 - $35 hourly, DOE

Qualifications:
- Must be a Registered Dietitian with an unencumbered, current license to practice in the state of assigned facility.
- Must meet any state and/or federal requirements of the position.
- Maintains required & appropriate certifications.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills; oral and written communication skills
- Must be able to relate positively and favorably to facility residents, families and government regulators, and to work cooperatively with other employees at all levels.
- Ability and willingness to travel extensively and work on-site in numerous facilities
- Must meet all local health regulations. This requirement also includes criminal background, investigation, and reference inquiry.
- Must exhibit effective language, skills, and ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals and technical procedures.
