Digital Marketing Manager, Affiliate and Social Media- (Remote Opportunity)
POSITION OVERVIEW
Bisk is looking for an experienced Digital Marketing Manager, Affiliate and Social Medio, to help grow our affiliate and social channels. The Digital Marketing Manager, Affiliate and Social Media is responsible for leading the affiliate and social teams, managing vendor relationships, developing, and maintaining campaigns, evaluating performance against KPI’s, and guiding the channel strategy for all university partners. This role is ultimately responsible for generating quality inquiries that have high potential to meet student enrollment goals along with tracking and reporting against these goals.
Core Responsibilities
- Act as the leader and SME for the affiliate and social marketing channel across all brands.
- Own the affiliate management tool. Help coordinate the set-up of new campaigns, set monthly vendor allocations for all partners, update numbers mid-month, and handle end of the month billing and reconciliation including scrubbing for unbillable leads.
- Maintain affiliate and paid social media plans for all clients; project budgets each month and adjust based on pacing throughout the month to hit goals.
- Research and recommend new tools, platforms, vendors, and campaign opportunities.
- Oversee, document, and connect with vendors and platform representatives on performance, optimizations, new products and betas.
- Daily collaboration with Operations Specialist and other team members on the set-up and launch of new campaigns.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure successful launch and maintenance of campaigns.
- Troubleshoot and navigate through technology connection and process flow issues.
- Develop and help execute the strategy for writing and expanding our organic social initiatives.
- Provide in depth analysis of performance and projections for new business development opportunities and other various projects.
Education, Knowledge, and Skills Required
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, advertising, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in affiliate marketing, social media management, interactive/digital media, or similar media buying. Lead generation and traditional experience is a plus.
- 1-3 years’ experience managing a team of any size.
- Experience managing budgets, analyzing ROI, and in-depth knowledge of digital marketing KPIs by channel.
- Working experience in a cloud-based lead management platform.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal) as you will need to be able to regularly take calls with vendors, internal stakeholders, coworkers, as well as our clients.
- Demonstrate proactive thinking – always seeking ways to do something better, and how to take advantage of changes in the marketplace
- Familiarity with Salesforce, SparkRoom, and Marketo is a plus.
