Responsibilities:
Marketing Managers serve as the marketing lead on campaigns and appropriate cross-functional teams for our initiatives. They help to ensure our brand message and member experience are consistent across all channels, while delivering strategic marketing plans and managing the coordination of marketing communications.

Develop Marketing Strategy
  • Combine trends, analytical inputs, conceptual and business elements to devise short and long term strategic positions for member communications and experiences
  • Deliver ideas and concepts that set us apart from competitors, and drive a quality member experience
  • Develop effective marketing plans for all projects to achieve strategic objectives and goals
  • Uses results and learnings to increase effectiveness of future campaigns and activities

Marketing Management
  • Prepares strategic documents and direction for marketing material which guides the strategy and marketing communications
  • Helps to ensure our voice and brand story is consistent across channels and platforms
  • Ensures effectiveness, accuracy, and alignment with the brand
  • Develops and maintains an understanding of compliance requirements and ensures that marketing communications comply with all applicable regulations
  • Prepares reports and makes presentations to the marketing team and partners

Digital Experience Strategy
  • Acts a marketing lead on new and existing digital member experiences, including web and mobile apps
  • Advises cross-functional teams on copy, content, and design of member-facing digital experiences
  • Initiates and leads user research as needed to inform digital member experience
  • Creates communications plan to communicate experience changes to members to ensure smooth transitions

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience as a marketing manager, brand manager, or similar role
  • Financial services or similar industry experience a must
  • Strong understanding of marketing strategy and how to effortlessly utilize it throughout various forms of marketing and communication scenarios
  • Relevant experience determining a target audience and how to cater unique marketing campaigns to capture engagement
  • Understands and always has an eye for customer experience
  • Digital fluent, ideally has design thinking, UI/UX and online banking or other similar application familiarity
  • Experience that demonstrates proficiency in marketing planning and communications
  • Ability to coordinate and partner with, as well as influence, a diverse group of teammates and simultaneously work toward many company initiatives at once
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail
  • Creates and maintains procedures related to areas of responsibility

Minimum Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, journalism, public relations, or related field preferred
