Job Description:

The purpose of this role is to support Batteries as a Subscription (BaaS) as it goes to market. You’ll have an exciting opportunity to learn all the technical aspects of BaaS, develop a support model, and help take the finished product to market. This role will require heavy interaction with the development teams to really understand the concept of fully electrified Cat products, and how Cat Digital will support them in the field. Another key focus of this role relates to how Cat Digital manages battery assets through telematics subscription services to meet customer needs.

JOB DUTIES:

• Attend BaaS product development discussions
• Develop technical documents related to BaaS support
• Lead product support related discussions and knowledge transfer with Cat Digital
• Monitor overall BaaS performance, quality, and subscription levels.
• Identify BaaS related issues and properly scope them for potential CPI projects
• Develop product support processes to support BaaS subscription changes
• Support BaaS product launch by tracking/resolving new dealer support requests though Salesforce
• Focus on the telematics side of the BaaS subscription service. Understand how we track/trace batteries from manufacturing to installation in the machine as well as optimizing the charging strategies to provide the most benefit for the customer’s needs.
• Provide Tier 2 analysts with technical guidance on difficult dealer requests.

Basic Qualifications:

• Requires a college or university degree, technical certification, or equivalent experience
• Working knowledge of Product Link devices
• Deep technical knowledge of Caterpillar products
• 2 years of product support experience for Cat equipment

Top candidates will also have:

• Strong communication skills
• At least 2 years of experience working at a Cat dealer, or 4 years of working directly with Cat dealers.
• Telematics experience
• VisionLink experience

Compensation & Benefits:

Base salary for this role ranges from $91,896 to $137,844. Actual salary will be based on experience. The total rewards package, beyond base salary includes:
