Essential Functions:

• Assist in the receipt, disbursement, and accountability of funds and for answering questions concerning policies and procedures.
• Receives cash and checks, closes cashier booth and accounts for and turns in all monies and tickets received during a shift.
• Prepares cashier booth for opening by securing cash from supervisor.
• Work in a diverse environment, encourage and promote diversity.

Required qualifications:

• Experience as a cashier.
• Experience assisting in the receipt, disbursement, and accountability of funds and for answering questions concerning policies and procedures.
• Experience preparing cashier booth for opening by securing cash from supervisor.
• Experience receiving cash and checks, closes cashier booth and accounts for all monies and tickets received during a shift.
• Experience in counting money and making change..

Preferred Qualifications:

• Six months of experience as a cashier.
• Experience with a cash register or computer register.
• Six months of experience assisting in the receipt, disbursement, and accountability of funds.
• Six months of experience preparing cash register for opening.
• Six months of experience receiving cash and checks; closes cash register and accounts for monies and tickets received during a shift.
• Must have accuracy in counting money and making change.
