RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Set up tables for each meal
• Prepare Service Line for meal service
• Take and serve resident food orders
• Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment or utensils in clean and orderly condition
• Side duties as assigned
• Aid in stocking supplies, such as food or utensils, in serving stations, refrigerators, freezers, etc.
• Bus dirty dishes from dining room. Clean table tops, condiment holders, and reset tables for each meal
• Sweep and scrub floors in the server line area
• Have an eye for details and upholding standards
• Operate with a sense of urgency
• Remove and empty wasted bins as needed
• Transfer supplies between storage and workstations by hand or by using rolling carts
• Attend all scheduled meetings and bring suggestions for improvement

SKILL SET REQUIRED:

• Successful completion of Food Safety Training and Certification Food Handlers Permit is required
• Excel in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• You are able to communicate clearly
• Be able to reach, bend stoop and frequently lift up to 50 lbs.
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
• Flexibility with schedule and availability to work shifts as well a weekends and holidays
