We are currently looking to hire in the Johnstown, Ebensburg, Blair, Huntingdon Area for a Direct Support Professional/ Job Coach. We have positions available for either Full-time position 30/40 hours a week or Part-time Monday-Friday that lets you work with individuals in their home and community either at their job or working on goals they would like to complete in everyday living.

Some of the task you would be trained on are as follows:

-Involve clients in community activities and events to add to life experiences and community living.

-Completes and/or assists with all home management activities, such as cooking, laundry, cleaning, etc.

-Ensure that clients keep up with their personal hygiene and grooming.

-Promotes a safe and caring environment where clients can learn from staff members and other clients alike and grow while enjoying a healthy and productive lifestyle.

-Participates in the interdisciplinary process by carrying out the goals and services described in the individual service plan(s).

-Promotes community awareness by demonstrating responsible, courteous behavior and a positive perception of individuals with developmental disabilities

-to assist in supervising and training our individuals on how to acquire the physical, intellectual, emotional, and social skills needed for successful employment.
