Job Description

Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) help provide direct services to children and adults with medical and/or physical and development disabilities. DSPs promote daily living skills, communication skills, and any other skills based on the client’s specific diagnoses.

• Working in a variety of different settings, including Day Service Programs, Group Homes, and Supported Living Services.
• Assisting with 24/7 care or respite services. This could include daily/weekly activities such as assisting with grocery shopping and errands, attending medical appointments, and organizing fun activities in and out of the home.
• Providing care and promoting positive health practices by helping clients receive medical care, administering medication, and assisting with bathing, feeding, and grooming as needed.
• Serving as a positive influence through behaviors, attitudes, and actions.
• Maintain great communication and professional relationships with clients, family members and co-workers.

What we ask of you:

Must be at least 18 years of age

High School diploma or GED (Preferred)

Driver’s license (Preferred)

Good Communicator, Dependable, and Compassionate!
