Responsibilities:
The Director, Human Resources is the strategic HR partner for a division or set of functions and businesses. As a member of the facility/division executive team, the Director, Human Resources participates in strategies, processes, and practices that align with and accelerate the business objectives. This will be accomplished through strong leadership and development coaching and by aligning services across the Norton Healthcare HR system as well as with external partnerships. A focus on people strategies of leadership, employee development and employee engagement to meet organizational goals.
- Create strategic workforce plans that align with business strategy (succession planning, diversity, workforce balancing, and training).
- Understand and keep current on external HR trends and issues in the healthcare industry.
- Create and understand organizational capabilities, (competencies, communications, coordination, capacity management, change management, culture) and develop plans and adapt processes to build/fill gaps in those capabilities.
- Drive culture building strategies.
- Provide coaching to the facility/division executive team and their leaders and foster teamwork, innovation, resolution and inclusion.
- Provide people management data, analysis implications, and recommendations.
- Partner within system HR to provide seamless delivery of HR Services.
- Facilitate the understanding among leadership team of new HR programs and the impact on their business.
- Ensure metrics for HR programs are established, monitored, communicated and met.
Required:
- Three years leadership
