Director of Billing

• Submission of claims to insurance company’s through Central Reach software
• Monitor payment of insurance claims
• Monitor accounts and providers for possible credentialing issues affecting reimbursement and drive quick resolution
• Oversee EOB payment posting for organization
• Discuss patient co-payments and collection of co-pay with families
• Define, track, and drive vital company metrics like revenue collection rate
• Educate, train, and motivate other teams to uphold and improve our billing processes over time
• Manage a high-performing team
• Responsible for processing all corporate payroll
• Responsible for organizational bookkeeping

Qualifications and Skills:

• 2 years of medical billing experience
• Central Reach software experience (preferred)
• Experience with CPT codes
• Exceptional attention to detail, critical thinking, and excellent communication with clients and insurance companies
• Experience with US healthcare reimbursement
• Comfort with ambiguity and an entrepreneurial ownership mindset
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required. Master’s preferred.
