What you will be doing everyday!
The Director of Finance will oversee the success of our wonderfully appointed 428 rooms, a fantastic restaurant which specializes in steak, seafood and the best sushi in the are along with our 45,000 square feet of Banquet and Catering space at the Hilton Alexandria Mark Center. Your financial knowledge will be utilized for various activities of the hotel including AP, AR, credit and collections, payroll, cash management, internal controls, auditing, general ledger, financial statements, taxes, and budgeting. With a hands on approach, the Director of Finance safeguards the assets and prepares all financial reports in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. The Director of Finance will also serve as a financial advisor of the Hotel Management team and Ownership.
What will enhance your success in this role!
- Branded hotel accounting experience required.
- Hilton experience preferred.
- Experience with major CRM systems preferred such as M3, Blackline, FastPay, Profitsword & ONQ knowledge .
- Essential statistical and analytical skills required to identify financial opportunities and shortfalls.
- Ability to work both independently and cross-functionally to achieve goals.
