Director of Imaging Services.

Wow!!! What a great opportunity to be part of an amazing healthcare system that is located just outside of St Louis MO.

Our client is seeking a Director of Imaging Services to oversee the multiple modalities in radiology within the Healthcare system. With a key emphasis on the mission statement and keeping the staff happy, the healthcare system is seeking someone that is present for the staff, driven, creative thinker and that ensures stability.

You will be working with a wonderful support team that will consist of an assistant manager and 50 plus full-time employees. This position will consist of periodic monthly or as needed traveling to the different facilities. Most of the work would be administered from the main campus. The Director of Imagining will be reporting directly too the Vice President.

This position is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising all the functions within Radiology Services to ensure that services are provided in accordance with the policies, procedures, philosophy, and objectives of Medical Center. Director will oversee a wide variety of regulatory, administrative, and fiscal activities internal and external to Radiology Services. They will also provide strong leadership, motivation, and staff development to the Radiology Services staff.

• · Strong leadership presence on site, bring stability and calmness to the department and structure to the team
• · Note: Must be comfortable with being present at the different facilities. This position is more of a regional position – it will support the entire system, not just the Medical Center
• · Must be comfortable working with others
• · Must be a good fit to healthcare mission statement

Job Requirements:

• · 5 years of experience in Imaging Management and a background that encompasses different imaging modalities – Focus on the imaging modalities.

o Radiology Services with mammography and bone density testing- required

• · Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current licensure to practice in the State of Missouri and Bachelor of Science, or Bachelor of Science and graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology with a current registry in the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.

o Master’s degree in business or healthcare administration preferred
