Adapt Integrated Health Care is currently looking for a Director of Operational Support to lead their back office teams!

The Director of Operational Support provides leadership and coordination for all back-office teams, including maintenance and facilities, custodial, and security. They are responsible for providing leadership, direction, growth, and administration of operations to ensure accomplishment of objectives. The Director also provides interface between support services and complete special projects as necessary.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Oversees daily operations of Adapt Integrated Health Care’s operational teams and delegates work as appropriate.
  • Provides supervision and promotes development for maintenance, security, custodial, and warehouse staff.
  • Enhances operational effectiveness, emphasizing cost containment and high-quality patient care.
  • Participate in regular staff and team meetings.
  • Assists in developing and implementing short- and long-term work plans and objectives.
  • Oversees staff recruitment, hiring, evaluation and guidance to ensure employment of qualified staff; Ensure that office is staffed appropriately.
  • Assist staff in understanding/implementing new policies and procedures.
  • Coordinates and conducts employee performance appraisals and addresses employee disciplinary issues, as needed, in a timely manner.
  • Develops guidelines for prioritizing work activities, evaluating effectiveness, and modifying activities as necessary.
  • Manage furniture and office assignments and review all building change tickets.
  • Assist in the onboarding and office set up for new staff.
  • Manage project teams and vendors for new building projects.
  • Assist with budget planning and management for the operational department.
  • Review purchases of furniture, tools, security needs, and other miscellaneous items.
  • Collaborate with the Safety Committee, Risk Management team, and other Adapt executives.
  • Serves as an exemplary role model and projects a positive image of Adapt Integrated Health Care.
  • Assists in developing policies and procedures to improve efficiency and reviews these regularly.
  • Fields questions, concerns, and conflicts. Handles employee suggestions and concerns and discusses necessary issues with executives. Ensures that all employees are treated equally.
  • Promote a Culture of Safety; reporting hazards, errors and potential client safety issues.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, operations, or related field; graduate degree preferred.
  • At least 2 years of supervisory and office management or coordination experience.
  • Valid driver’s license.
