The Director of Operations will be responsible for the overall operations of the agency while ensuring quality services are provided through leadership and guidance. The Director of Operations will expand and grow the company.
Some Essential Functions will be, but not limited to:
- Provides direction and guidance to staff related to operational issues or programmatic developments, utilizing good communication skills and continued support
- Manages and oversees compliance with State of New Mexico DD Wavier Standards
- Maintains an awareness of agency and state regulatory policies and guidelines, monitors and directs all employees to compliance standards and expectations
- Collaborates with Leadership to build a strong team and an environment of collective responsibility and accountability
- Participate in an agency wide Compliance Program to ensure services provided are consistent with services authorized per the individual ISP
- Works closely with Case Management, Therapists and Direst Support Professionals to ensure individual ISP goals are being met
- Attends all provider meetings and board meetings. Acts as Agency Representative and liaison between DDSD, persons served, employees, community stakeholders and Progressive Residential Services of New Mexico (PRS-NM)
- Manages and oversees internal Quality Assurance audits compliance, developing corrective action plans if applicable
- Conducts weekly staff meetings and ongoing training for admin staff
- Works on site development and program growth, evaluates threats against programs and works to resolve issues with the team members and other parties
- Schedules quarterly strategic meetings with management to discuss marketing strategies for growth and plans to fill and maintain vacancies

- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to travel to off-site locations
- Must be available by cell phone 24/7
- Requires long hours of computer usage
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services, Master’s preferred
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Human Services with the DD population, at least 2 years of management experience
- Must be knowledgeable of DD waiver standards
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Internet, etc.
- Valid Driver’s License and Acceptable Driving Record
- Successful completion of the post-offer process including criminal history check and professional references
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $49,920.00 per year
