CrossCountry Consulting’s Risk and Compliance practice is rapidly growing. Our Technology Risk Advisory professionals deliver services focused on IT governance, IT risk, IT audit, cybersecurity, cloud computing, privacy and data protection, system implementations, third party risk management, data governance & analytics, disaster recovery, SOX, IT regulatory compliance, digital transformation, and more.
As a Technology Risk Director at CrossCountry, you will be supporting and working closely with our West Coast Risk Directors as well as our Risk Leadership nationally. You will be aligned to the West Coast Region. You will serve as a member of our leadership team to create, develop, and build out our market presence.
What will you do
- Client Delivery
- Oversee IT Audit, IT SOX Advisory (Optimization, Remediation Support, etc.), IT GRC, IT Controls Optimization, and Data & Privacy services at new and existing clients
- Conduct IT Risk assessments to lay the foundation for future IT Risk enablement projects
- Lead special projects such as Risk transformation engagements leveraging emerging technologies
- Manage client accounts, projects, and engagements, including work plans, staffing, deadlines, and budgets throughout all lifecycle phases, including strategy, goal setting, deliverables, and maintaining an integrated project plan
- Practice Delivery
- Provide thoughtful leadership and influence executive-level decision-making through a deep analytical insight into core business decisions, such as the prioritization of opportunities
- Lead proposal teams in securing new client work, as well as expand existing relationships within client organizations with Business Development and Networking in mind
- Show the ability to generate leads from a network outside of existing client work
- Manage teams and individuals by tracking and directing performance against objectives, developing timely resolutions to issues, risks, and project team conflicts, and fostering a spirit of collaboration among team members
- Act as a role model, supervisor, coach, and mentor to Associate Directors, Managing Consultants, Senior Consultants, and Consultants both on projects and within coaching families. This includes being a champion for the firm in our community, within the market, with recruits, and with employees to attract and retain our people.
- Participate in advancing the firm through various initiatives such as recruiting, business development, service line leadership initiatives, marketing, and knowledge sharing
Who you are
- 12 + years advising public companies on IT strategy and governance, IT risk assessment, IT audit, cybersecurity, cloud computing, privacy, and data protection, systems pre- and post-implementation reviews, third-party risk management, systems development life cycle controls assessment, data analytics, disaster recovery, IT regulatory compliance, and/or IT project risk management
- Prior professional services experience in a client-facing role at an accounting firm, consulting firm, or commensurate experience
- Consistent success in building and developing strong client relationships
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, information systems, or a similar field
- CISA, CISM, CISSP, CIA, CPA, CEH, OSCAP or Security + preferred

The following range takes into account a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, education, licenses, certifications, business needs, and internal equity. An estimate of the current range is $242,000 - $346,000
+ annual bonus + additional benefits.
