Accountability and Scope
- Accountable for delivering [ USA Hardware ] Inventory performance to budget, driving service levels to achieve customer contractual performance, through enactment of Global SIOP Processes.
- Responsible for building strong relationships with Sales, Operations, Procurement and Supply Chain Senior Leaders, to enact the inventory plan based upon changes in the marketplace and well as customer contractual changes.
- Accountable to lead the business area through the SI&OP process, to ensure supply chain capacity in support of company’s long-range plans.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
- To lead the [business area] Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning team, personally driving improvement activity, and developing strong relationships with senior internal stakeholders within Sales, Finance, Procurement and Supply Chain Functions.
- To prepare [business area] inventory budget, provide accurate forecasts and actions to achieve budget, engage with [business area] Leadership teams to monitor inventory actions.
- To drive Demand Forecast Accuracy and Inventory policies to ensure customer performance expectations are met or exceeded.
- To oversee the creation of accurate long-term Sales, Inventory and Operations plan for [business area], explaining variances to forecasts and providing actions to optimize inventory performance.
- Establish relationships and maintain significant collaboration with customers and key suppliers, to drive improvements in end-to-end supply chain performance.
- To ensure compliance to SIOP processes and policies across the [business area], and professionally approve inventory changes within Inventory control authorization levels.
- Provide support and process governance to (i) operational inventory control e.g., cycle counting (ii) non-marketable stock, excess and obsolete stock. Build strong working relationship between Operations and Finance to minimize stock write-off and provisions.
- Provide strong leadership and proactively manage performance aligning employee’s accountabilities and objectives to deliver the strategic and operational aims of the business, coach team to support their individual development plans.
- Provide functional support to new product introductions, customer bids and growth initiatives. Ensuring smooth implementation with forecasting and safety stock modelling.

Qualifications
Qualifications and Experience
- Undergraduate Degree level qualification (eg BSc) in Supply Chain, Operations or Business.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Leadership role, within Global Supply Chain company.
- Significant experience leading a SIOP or Material Planning Function, leading a large team
