JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a Dish/Prep to join our growing team! The right candidate will have the ability to operate dish washing equipment, assist in food prep and will be responsible for general cleaning duties.

Responsibilities

• Performs under the direction of supervisory personnel, dish and pot washing, general cleaning duties
• Assist in prep for next service when needed
• Set up the dish and pot washing area
• Maintain dish washing machine and sanitizes production equipment, work surfaces and kitchen according to cleaning schedules and procedures
• Properly scrub and sanitize all dishes, pots and pans.
• Learn proper storage of dishes and keep kitchen in order.
• Distributes and stores clean posts, dishes and utensils
• Assist in clean up after meal service and empties trash containers as required
• Follow instruction for knife cuts and techniques – will train to learn knife skills
• Plan for next shift and communicate with Supervisor
• Help put away deliveries, straighten up walk-ins, complete any cleaning tasks from Chef
• Communicate with chef or sous chef to determine any additional tasks needed during the shift.
• Preform other duties requested.

Pay Scale

$31,000 - 35,000 per year

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required
• 6 months working experience preferred but not required
• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English
• Ability to set up and operate dish washing equipment
• Licenses/Certifications: Food Handler's card may be required.
