DISPATCHER

HIRING IMMEDIATELY!!

We are currently hiring for a Dispatcher to join our Anchorage team!

The Dispatcher is responsible for receiving, checking, and processing information transmitted by the airlines and communicating necessary information to the appropriate departments, while dispatching drivers to the airfield. Ideal candidates will have a positive attitude and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Principle Responsibilities:

• Processing information received via telephone, dispatch radio, email and other information feeds
• Entering data into computer utilizing multiple programs.
• Utilizing various communication mediums (multiple computers and programs, telephone & paging system, dispatch radio system) to distribute information.
• Preparing bills (checking passenger counts, aircraft numbers, printing and packaging bills).
• Timely notification to appropriate department(s) if need arises (e.g. significant flight change, alteration made to flight, mistake found by airline, etc.).
• General office/clerical duties (filing, copying, faxing & scanning).
• Performing miscellaneous tasks for other departments.

Qualifications:

• Dispatch experience preferred
• Flexibility and availability for working days, swing shifts, overnights, and overtime as required.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Strong customer service knowledge/experience.
• General office/clerical skills (filing, copying, answering phones, etc.).
• Ability to prioritize and follow through with tasks.
• Ability to multi-task
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
• Ability to work well in a 'team' oriented environment.
