Enjoy a 2-2-3 schedule in this shipping administration position! Doherty Staffing Solutions is partnering with a leading manufacturing and production company located in Cold Spring, MN. We are seeking candidates for a Shipping Office Clerk role on a day or night shift opportunity working from either 6am-6pm or 6pm-6am. Compensation for this contract opportunity is $19- $21.00+ per hour depending on shift and experience.

What a Data Entry Associate will do:

• Receive email from broker and/or agents requesting appointment date and time
• Reply to broker and/or agents by email of the appointment scheduled on our calendar with arrival dates and times
• Compare identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bill of ladings, invoices, orders, or other records
• Operate computer with various computer programs to input retrieved data and other documents to prepare for pick-up of scheduled product
• Check in all inbound and outbound deliveries with the pick up numbers provided by the drivers and obtain information from drivers to complete the Trailer Inspection Form, print Bill of Ladings, and Pick Sheets to release the product as needed
• Communicate with Dock Coordinators to determine which dock door to send trucker to
• Answer phone calls, assist with directions to facility, and other customer service items as needed
• Responsible for directing all incoming phone calls to the right company representative depending on the nature of the call
• Greet and refer all visitors and customers in as friendly and efficient manner possible
• Coordinate regular inventory counts as required by customers and the company #TopCareers

What you need to be a Data Entry Associtae:

• Excellent communication skills
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office products
• Good customer service, problem-solving, and time management skills
• 1-2 years of experience is preferred, but not required
