District Manager
Job Summary
The District Manager (DM) with Premier Martial Arts will lead the operational strategy for corporate owned Premier Martial Arts studios. Areas of key focus include building and cultivating a collaborative and high performing team culture, overall P&L responsibility including student membership sales, labor management and EBITDA.
District Managers will be based out of Knoxville, TN or Atlanta, GA
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership - Direct the development and execution of Premier Martial Arts’ (PMA) operational standards through guidance and leadership to achieve or exceed results. Monitor and measure execution of key processes identified by PMA leadership team. Identify and implement best practices across the region as well as sharing best practices within the leadership team and peers. Evaluate compliance with all studio guidelines and make corrections where needed
- Talent Management - Direct the selection, development, and motivation of key studio leaders. Utilize succession planning to prepare for growth by developing the skills of direct reports. Lead through on-going studio visits, verbal communication, timely feedback, positive reinforcement, written evaluations and performance feedback. Address performance concerns.
- Strategic Planning and People Development - Create a culture that provides exceptional service at all levels. Create an environment where PMA is the brand and employer of choice. Maintain an in-depth and complete knowledge of competitor activity within the region. Analyze intelligence data and provide recommendations for future action plans.
- Partner with membership sales teams and Unleashed Brands to determine all avenues for driving membership growth.
- Collaborate with other departments such as operations, training, data and analytics, etc. to ensure a strategic overview of the business and future market opportunities.
- Oversee the execution of initiatives and activities including marketing campaigns and community/event sponsorships.
- Continuously improve overall brand, brand presence, and student experience
- Maintain continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
We're Excited About You if You Have:
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field and 5+ years relevant work experience in operations or franchising
- Ability to travel to corporate owned studios across the United States- travel up to 30%
- A can-do attitude as a self-starter with strong attention to detail.
- A strong desire to make an impact.
- The ability to work in conditions which include multiple priorities, extended work schedules and specific time constraints.
- Research & Analysis skills: Understanding of consumer needs and behavior. Strong analytical ability – analyze data, develop insights, etc.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Especially the ability to work cross-departments to achieve results.
- Be a team player.

- Strong attention to detail
- Can think big, delivering innovative strategic solutions
- Budget management skills
- Experience in MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
