We are looking for a Pet Sitter/Dog Walker to join our team and provide quality care for our furry friends. The ideal candidate will have experience with animals, a genuine love for pets, and a passion for providing pet parents with peace of mind. The successful candidate will be responsible for walking dogs, caring for pets in the pet's home, ensuring the safety of the animals in their care, and providing great written and verbal communication with the pet parents. This is an excellent opportunity to work with animals and make a difference in the lives of pet owners.

About the Position

• Pay is $12/hour + $.50/miles between visits
• Hours start at 5-10 hours per week, but there are additional opportunities for hours by request.
• Must be available during our peak time, Monday-Friday 11am-2pm.
• We are open 7am-9pm all 7 days of the week, plus all holidays.
• Flexible start times & Independent work days.
• One week of Paid Training/Shadowing

Responsibilities

• Complete all tasks given by pet owner with documentation.
• Walk dogs in a safe and responsible manner.
• Drive themselves too and from visits.
• Be able to communicate effectively with pet owners.
• Be able to handle multiple dogs at once.
• Be knowledgeable of dog behavior and body language.
• Be able to administer basic first aid to pets if needed.
• Clean up after the pet(s).
• Maintain accurate records of walks and other activities with the pet(s).
• Provide feedback to the pet owner about their dog’s behavior during visits.

Requirements:

• Clean Background Check
• Must have Valid Drivers Licence with reliable transportation with proof of insurance.
• Must be available at least Monday-Friday between 10am-3pm.
• Experience with pets is a plus, and have the ability to walk dogs up to 150lbs.
• Must be independent and confident in their abilities.
