Join our team of awesome, active walkers in the Vallejo/Benicia area!

We’re looking for a dog lover with experience walking up to 2 energetic dogs at a time. Our walkers earn between $18 and $22 per hour depending on availability and comfort level walking multiple dogs.

We are an established dog-walking company based in Vallejo with a growing roster of regular daily dog walks. We are a local business that offers an alternative to the crowd-sourced dog walking apps. We take pride in maintaining long-standing clients who feel like family, and we go above and beyond the standard of care that most people expect from their daily walker. Our company runs on integrity, trustworthiness and respect. In exchange for upholding these qualities, we get to play with dogs all day and earn money doing it!

In addition to daily walks, we offer dog park excursions, hiking adventures and overnight pet-sitting services to our clients. We also offer tailored services, for example, some dogs have a 2 hour adventure with us, while others receive agility training. We are the one-stop-shop for all our client’s dog care needs.

Dog-walking is an amazing job for the right person. It gets you outside, exercised, and paid! Plus, your furry clients grow to love you and wait eagerly for your arrival. Dog-walking is one of the most rewarding jobs a dog lover can have.

Our number one priority is that you love dogs and are attuned to a dog’s needs. We expect our walkers to pay attention to any changes in their dog client’s personalities, bathroom habits, and energy levels. Our clients eagerly look forward to their dog’s walk reports and photos after every walk. It is important that these reports are thorough, thoughtful and reflect the fun you had with their dog!

This job requires a high level of personal responsibility, punctuality, attention to detail and preparedness. We have access to our clients homes, and respect for their space and their pet is of the utmost importance. We are looking for candidates who are trustworthy and reliable. Background checks are required and references will be contacted.

Our ideal candidates are dog-lovers who want a stable, long-term, part-time job making friends with some amazing dogs and humans!

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Current or former dog-owners preferred, but anyone who has had extensive experience with dogs is welcome to apply.The most important requirement is that you truly love dogs!
• Timeliness is paramount to what we do. Our walkers must be on-time to all walks.
• Please have your own transportation and be comfortable transporting 1-2 dogs in your car.
• You must be physically capable of walking 3-7 hours each day.
• You must be able to control excitable dogs on leash.
• A friendly personality and the ability to meet and interact with our clients. Customer service experience is a big plus!
• Please be tech-literate. You must be able to use our smartphone application, which involves taking photos during your walks and messaging clients using clear, friendly writing with attention to detail.
• Special consideration will be given to applicants who are able to do overnight pet-sitting (8pm to 8am) and work during holidays.
• Walkers must have regular, consistent availability (eg. MWF 10am-5pm) and be able to commit to a minimum of six months of walking with us.
