Architectural Drafter
Full-Time AutoCAD Drafter needed to set-up and maintain architectural plans, elevations and details for facade and garage restoration projects, following the firm's established procedures and standards.
You will also work alongside engineers, architects, project managers and designers to aid with miscellaneous project related tasks as needed. There is potential for growth including field work for candidates with no fear of heights.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
EXPERIENCE:
AutoCAD proficiency and understanding of the program to generate construction documents and essential drawings (Min. 2 Years)
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)(Min. 1 Year)
Scaffold Training Course (16-Hour) Suspended Scaffold Class Card (Not required)
EDUCATION:
Architectural education preferred but not required
Associates Degree required

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word (for generation of field reports, construction specifications etc)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (for construction bid forms and bid analysis and project scheduling and management)
- Understanding of construction documents, familiarity with architectural/engineering/construction methods and jargon, and familiarity with the NYC Dept of Buildings are all highly desirable but a willingness to learn is essential
- Dedication and diligence are essential to the role, being able to work in tandem with all employees and a various range of projects
- Be a self-starter, bring an open mind, and have a high attention to detail for all aspects of our projects and in-office tasks
- 3D modeling experience is a plus but not required (Sketchup, Rhino, Revit)
- Graphic Design experience is a plus but not required (Photoshop, Illustrator)
