Ritchie & Page Distributing is a well-established, family-owned beer and ale distributor in Robbinsville NJ, serving the counties of Mercer, Monmouth, Burlington, Ocean, and Southern Hunterdon. We are looking for a few Driver Helpers to join us for the summer. Our Driver Helpers do not drive the delivery vehicles, rather they help the route driver with delivering goods to our customers. This is a temporary, part-time position scheduled to work 3 – 5 days per week. Our Helpers are paid for a full 8 hour day, even if the route is finished earlier, and paid overtime after 8.5 hours (8 work hours with ½ hour break). We will provide training. This is a great opportunity to learn about the beer and beverage distribution industry.

Job Summary:

The Driver Helper will assist Route Drivers with delivering goods from one location to another. This position does not perform any driving.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Assist Drivers on selected day routes with the delivery of goods
• Assists in general warehouse duties when delivery route is completed
• Obey all company policy and procedures, including all safety protocols
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to carry out a series of instructions without constant supervision
• Able to remain professional and courteous at all times

Education and Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift 30 – 100+ pounds regularly.
• Must be able to load and unload packages with and without dollies in various types of weather.

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
