We’re looking for a talented Editorial Manager to join our team.
Position Summary:
As the Editorial Manager on our Content team, you will be responsible for implementing the brand voice, developing creative concepts and executing editorial strategies to capture audience and retention. The ideal candidate will work cross-functionally with brand strategy, marketing and social teams for insights and execution alignment.
What You’ll Do:
- Execute merchandising and promotional plans across all digital storefronts
- Collaborate with programming and marketing leads to create tentpoles, reels, storefront features, and social media strategies that amplify and promote content on the platform.
- Ensure editorial integrity and consistency of the user experience
- Lead strategic and tactical implementation of daily and monthly editorial content to support programmatic scheduling of a high volume content slate
- Focus on understanding customer needs, pain points, behaviors and preferences; work with research to gain insight and feedback to create editorial experiences on their behalf.
- Sustain and contribute to title planning, seasonal and cultural moment campaigns, and company tentpoles alignment
- Partner with programming data and insights leads to adapt programming efforts based on findings to analyze and understand customer viewership data, focus groups, online surveys, in-person interviews, external benchmarking and other forms of secondary research to improve acquisitions and programming strategies
- Use our Content Management System to perform regular curatorial updates to our storefront
What You Bring:
- 4+ years of experience in digital content programming, content strategy and/or social media strategy
- Strong understanding of digital/traditional programming and merchandising strategies and services
- Data-informed but creatively led, with the ability to translate analytics into action
- Passion for social media, trends and Black culture around the world
- Experience with CMS, data, and other tools (Excel, Google Workspace, etc.) to help operationalize and execute day-to-day responsibilities
- Experience collaborating with others in digital media and social media environments
