The Goddard School in Falls Church is seeking a dynamic and creative leader for our management team. We are looking for a director who is passionate and enthusiastic about early childhood education as well as someone who can multitask in a lively environment, loves working with children from infancy to Pre-K and is excited about the prospect of building a community from the ground up.

To qualify for the position, one must:

• Have attained a minimum of a BA or BS Degree in Early Childhood/Elementary Education or related field
• Have 2+ years in Managerial Experience at a preschool setting
• Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Possess strong leadership skills and a strong working knowledge of technology (devices and software)
• Be a detail oriented team builder who is committed to professional development

Responsibilities:

• Follow and enforce all rules and regulations pertaining to the health, safety, and care of children
• Your focus would be all aspects of the learning program – teacher support, curriculum implementation, summer camp/event planning, and so on
• Hire, train, retain high quality teachers
• Curriculum development and classroom support
• Organize and conduct monthly staff meetings
• Develop strong relationships with families
• Maintain the highest level of professional work behavior, attitude and appearance
• Support and implement professional development to our teachers (on-site and through other training providers)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
