Job Title: e-Learning Designer (Remote/Hybrid Work Option)

Reports To: Training Director

Position Location: Remote/hybrid work

Availability: 15-40 Hours er week

Travel Requirements: Several times annually

Pay Structure: Hourly ($25-$28)

Bonus Tier: Annual bonus is provided based on company growth, performance, and contribution to the team.

Position Overview 

CN Resource is seeking an e-Learning Designer to work with us in transitioning content from our previous platform to our new one (Articulate). This position requires good Articulate Storyline skills, high-level communication skills, a proven ability to work independently, and the ability to jump on and off projects as needed. The e-Learning Designer will build self-paced learning modules in Articulate based off existing content in another LMS.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities 

• Designing and creating eLearning modules such as applied tutorials, step-by-step guides, workshop presentations, hands-on exercises, knowledge assessments, learner surveys, and other instructional materials that can be combined and recombined into different online courses and pathways.

• Curating eLearning experiences from available digital content (e.g., recorded trainings, webinars, case studies, infographics, etc.) created by yourself, your teammates, and by colleagues from other teams.

• Measuring the effectiveness of eLearning with surveys, followed with making modifications to ensure we are meeting our intended objectives and continually improving our customer learning experiences.

• Supporting our live instructor-led courses with a library of modular eLearning content and curriculum materials that can be repackaged for virtual and hybrid instruction.

• Fulfill various assignments across functions in the organization.

• All other tasks as assigned.

Knowledge Required 

• Degree in Education, English, Communications, or related areas of study is required.

• 2-3 years e-Learning design experience.

Skills Required 

• Inspiring translator of all things regulatory: Ability to convert regulatory jargon into plain language that customers can understand and appreciate—to create those “lightbulb moments” with learners. Exceptional written and oral communication skills.

• Detail-oriented creativity: Ability to work within our brand and style guidelines to create accurate, complete, and compelling multimedia learning experiences.

• Responsive and responsible: Ability to develop learning experiences based on input and insights from across a group of internal stakeholders and customers, without sacrificing the quality or integrity of our learning offering.

• Organized self-starter and project manager: Requiring minimal supervision in a fast-paced, constantly changing software environment.

• Adept with technical tools of the trade: Solid experience in course development platforms such as Articulate, video production software such as VideoScribe, as well as Microsoft Applications, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and SharePoint. Familiarity with Learning Management Systems is preferred. Graphic design and video editing experience is preferred. Experience in creating video animations and interactive eLearning is a plus.

Additional Requirements 

• Fingerprint clearance (as applicable) will be required. 

• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination required.

• Must possess a current and valid driver’s license.

• Out of state travel is required. This will be based on the needs of contracts.
