Job description
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Exhibit strong fundamentals of electrical engineering.
- 2+ years experience with microcontrollers, microprocessors, sensors, ADCs, and mixed-signal designs.
- Experience with low power/battery operated design (less than 1mW is a plus).
- Hands-on experience with schematic entry and PCB layout tools (familiarity with Altium Designer is a plus).
- Experience with Design for Manufacturability (DFM).
- Strong system level troubleshooting skills.
- Experience executing design reviews in front of interdisciplinary teams.
- Experience with use of test equipment including oscilloscopes, power supplies, and function generators.
- Experience with soldering and rework of fine-pitch electronics/PCBAs.
- Experience managing and shipping at least 1 product through full lifecycle; from concept/inception through sustaining.

- As an experienced Hardware Design Engineer within our team, you will engage with a skilled and accomplished cross-disciplinary staff to conceive and design innovative technologies. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive key aspects of technology solution definition, execution and validation.
- Full cycle product development experience from inception through maturity is important. Working simultaneously on projects in different phases is common; you are able to demonstrate strong design and validation skills in addition to the understanding of mechanics of ongoing operational excellence and product support. You are responsive, flexible, and able to succeed within an open collaborative peer environment.
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Hands-on experience with PCB layout of sensitive analog and RF designs.
- Experience troubleshooting and resolving EMI/EMC issues.
- Experience designing, developing, and certifying safety rated hardware systems is desirable.
