Lockheed Martin Space has an excellent opportunity for an Electronics Engineer Asc to work with the ORION program! Lockheed Martin is the prime contractor building NASA's Orion Multi-Purpose Crew Vehicle, the only spacecraft designed for long-duration, human-rated deep space exploration. Orion will transport humans to interplanetary destinations beyond low Earth orbit, such as the moon and eventually Mars, and return them safely back to Earth. Exciting stuff, yes? Lockheed Martin Space in Titusville, FL is seeking a full time Early Career Electronics Engineer. In this role, you will work under supervision perform & support design coordination, development, incremental system test, and customer acceptance test for electronic & electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) and Automated Test Equipment (ATE) used for Lockheed Martin Space missions, and support unique/custom designed circuitry, subassemblies & assemblies, as well as engineering design disclosure documentation required to produce them. The successful candidate will have an understanding of electronic & electrical components and systems, understanding of electronics & electrical circuits, and familiarity in using the electrical test equipment. Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
- Understanding of electronic & electrical components and systems.
- Understanding of electronics & electrical circuits.
- Familiar in using the electrical test equipment.
- Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
- Prefer Electrical Engineering major with Computer Science minor.
- Familiar in Linux OS Bash scripting.
- Familiar with Python language
- Familiar with general IP networking
- Experience or coursework in schematic capture using Zuken or similar tools.
- Experience or coursework in analog and digital design.
- A willingness to travel is required.
- Self-starter
- Proficient with Microsoft Office to include Visio
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment
