Technical Responsibilities:
Work collaboratively with other cross functional engineers to execute software delivery plans.
Design and implement software components within the framework of a software architecture.
Participate in the transition of machine learning based features from research to production.
Benchmark performance for potential hardware/software platforms machine learning performance.
Develop validation methods to prove performance of machine learning based algorithms.
Retrain existing algorithms to account for new information or corner cases.
Contribute to all phases of the software development, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, test coordination, documentation, and lifecycle management.
Requirements:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience with statistical analysis and algorithm development
Experience with Python
Experience with Tensorflow Lite, Onnx runtime, or Pytorch
Experience with Matlab
Experience with modern C/C++ (11/14 or later)
Experience with Linux application development
Experience with multi-threaded applications
Experience with frame based real-time data processing
Familiarity with compilers, parallel programming, and computer architecture
Experience with debugging, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
Experience with source code management (SCM) tools (Git, Subversion, Perforce, etc.)
Strong spoken and written communication skills
Bonus Skills:
Experience with ALSA, Pulse Audio, or gStreamer
Experience with procedural, object oriented, and functional programming concepts
Experience with shell scripting and Linux command line tools
Experience with iOS or Android native application development
Experience with JavaScript
Experience with 32-bit microcontrollers (Cortex M0, M0+, M3, M4, and M7)
Experience with a multi-tasking embedded RTOS environment (FreeRTOS or similar)
Education: BSEE/BSCS/BSCE with a minimum of 3-5 years related work experience.
