Job description
Harrison County Hospital is seeking confident EMTs to provide patients with basic life support and transport to medical facilities. The EMT will collaborate with another emergency medical personnel such as paramedics to stabilize patients, and to arrange their reception at medical facilities. You will conduct yourself in a professional manner, display a positive image, continue your education to keep your state licensure, and acknowledge accountability for all patient care provided.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Appropriate EMS certification level for current position
EMERGENCY MEDICAL TECHNICIANS MUST MAINTAIN:
- Current American Heart or Red Cross CPR
- Current Indiana EMT Certification
- Current Hazmat Awareness and obtain Hazmat Operations Level within one year
- Current Drivers License
ADVANCED EMERGENCY MEDICAL TECHNICIANS MUST MAINTAIN:
- Current American Heart or Red Cross CPR
- Current Indiana AEMT Certification
- Current Hazmat Awareness and obtain Hazmat Operations Level within one year
