CHS is seeking a reliable, organized Employee Specialist to provide job related services to people with special needs. The responsibilities for this position include:

• Completing vocational assessments to understand an individual's strengths, interests and areas that require further training.
• Assisting clients with their job search including completing applications, preparing for interviews and meeting pre-employment requirements.
• Providing on the job training to consumers so that they understand their job duties and other expectations.
• Facilitating the development of natural supports, job modifications and accommodations and maintaining regular contact with the consumer, employers and other stakeholders.
• Completing accurate progress notes based on the individual Plan of Service.
• Submitting accurate billing in accordance with the procedures and policies of South Carolina Department of Special Needs.
• Ensuring an environment free of abuse and neglect with respect for individuality and dignity.
• Participating in regular training to ensure compliance with funder and corporate expectations.
