General Description:
The HEAL Engagement Specialist (ES) will engage one on one with individuals interested in and/or enrolled in addiction services and support delivery of treatment. HEAL stands for Helping to End Addiction Long-term.
Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree in related Human Services field required.
- One year experience in community-based behavioral health support programs preferred.
- One year experience with accessing local resources, navigating health, behavioral health and/or substance use treatment systems preferred
- One year experience providing person-centered assessments and care planning to adults with mental illness and substance use disorders preferred
- One year experience with assessment tools and treatment planning preferred
- Knowledge of electronic records technology and Microsoft office applications including Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint, trouble-shooting electronic applications.
- Must pass a Criminal Offense Record Information (CORI) Background Check
