The LCF Group (located in New Hyde Park) is an established MCA direct funder. We provide funding to small businesses in the form of a merchant cash advance. We purchase their future receivables and are repaid via daily ACH debits or a percentage of their credit card sales. We have been in business since 2011 and are growing rapidly. This is a fast paced, high pressure position in a highly competitive industry. We are looking for an ambitious MCA Underwriter!
This is a full time in-office position, located in New Hyde Park, NY. Hours are 9 AM-6 PM Monday through Friday.
Entry Level Underwriter Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Reviewing credit and background reports
- Reviewing court record searches
- Reviewing application and bank statements
- Reviewing businesses debt to income and ability to afford payments
- Pricing merchant cash advances
Entry Level Underwriter Requirements:
- Merchant cash advance's or similar commercial finance products experience a plus but not necessary.
- Professional
- Detail oriented
- Must be comfortable working on a computer all day - we are a paperless office
- Must be able to work in a high pressure fast paced environment
- Must be a team player! With the ability to work independently
- College degree is a plus
- Salesforce experience is a plus, but not required
- WILLING TO TRAIN!!!
