The EHS Advisor position will be responsible for ensuring his/her team actively promotes a health, safety, and environmental culture to all levels of employees in support of the Rock Island Dam demo and piping replacement project.

Duration of the contract is 3 months, with the possibility of up to 12 months. This position requires shift work. This position is not eligible for per diem.

What You'll Do Here

• Promote, educate, and reinforce Company Safety Policies and Regulatory Standards

• Train project staff in the requirements of conventional safety procedures

• Track and report safety-related statistics

• Manage Return to Work, Modified duties cases at the field level

• Complete and document EHS field inspections, observations, and incident investigation reports

• Ensure proper case management for any work-related injuries or illness

• Support field activities

Required Knowledge and Skills

• A designation such as OSHA 510 or OSHA 511

• Minimum 5 years of senior experience in Health and Safety within the nuclear industry

• Relevant Post-Secondary education or equivalent experience in the Health and Safety Field

• A Team Player that accepts and can manage change regularly

• Demonstrated Leadership abilities with strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Must be comfortable working in Radiological Work Areas
• Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, etc.
