Job Description:

To provide support and guidance to the Haverhill, MA site management team on SHES (Safety, Health, Environment & Security) related matters. In so doing, ensure all legislative, safety, health, environmental, and security responsibilities are complied with.

Main Responsibilities:

• Ensure that the requirements of the company’s Health and Safety Policy and Procedures are achieved in the areas that are under direct control
• Identify SHES training requirements for employees and work with managers to ensure training requirements are implemented and actioned alongside the learning management system.
• Act as the security manager for the Chelmsford/Haverhill facility, ensuring compliance with all relevant security both internal and external to the business. Role will include assessing for voluntary compliance with US Customs & Border Protections; C-TPAT program.
• Provide site management with relevant reporting documents and information on a monthly, quarterly, annual or as required.
• Proactively manage site related environment improvement programs by tracking energy / waste management use/costs and proposing reduction initiatives
• Ensure related site certificates, registrations and audits are current and non-conformities are resolved, for example: ISO, hazardous waste, asbestos, electrical, gas, water hygiene
• Provide support and advice to the facilities Maintenance Engineer to ensure compliance with all regulatory and Edwards requirements.
• Develop and maintain SHES standards to guide / support all functions of the business to enhance and improve the culture.
• Support line managers in the execution of their SHES responsibilities.
• Lead the SHES change management review process of the relocation to the new facility in Haverhill MA
• Partner with Human Resources in the development and execution of health and wellbeing activities and resources to benefit our colleagues
