POSITION: Environmental, Health & Safety Compliance Coordinator

COMPENSATION: The position is salaried paid position. The work week for this position usually begins on Monday and concludes on Friday based on scheduling needs.

SUPERVISOR: The position ultimately reports to the EH&S Compliance Manager. However, the position is also subject to supervision by company’s EH&S Director & VP of EH&S.

DESCRIPTION: The EH&S Compliance Coordinator is a key member of the Environmental, Health and Safety team, responsible for administering the Company’s DOT compliance program. The Compliance Coordinator will maintain the Driver Qualification (“DQ”) files for assigned market area, and will ensure that important deadlines for renewing licenses, running driving record abstracts, and completing employment verifications are met. The Compliance Coordinator will work with other members of the Environmental, Health and Safety team as well as Operations Managers across the business to administer the company’s DOT and non-DOT drug testing programs.

SPECIFIC DUTIES:

• Create and maintain Driver Qualification Files
• Respond to requests for employment verifications from other companies
• Monitor expiration dates for driver’s licenses, medical cards, etc. and work with operations management to ensure timely renewals
• Data entry and accurate record keeping of employee information to ensure compliance with new hire, reasonable suspicion, and random drug testing programs
• Communicate and handle post injury/incident drug test results
• Conduct motor vehicle record searches
• Conduct FMCSA Clearinghouse Queries
• Perform audits DQ files for compliance
