A day as a Refrigeration Equipment Maintenance Technician:

• Preventative maintenance and repairs on refrigeration, evaporator coolers, condensers, HVAC equipment.
• Troubleshooting repair and maintenance of plumbing fixtures and electrical circuits, and sanitation equipment.
• Maintain the general condition of the facility with regards to all aspects of the cooking and production equipment, including convection ovens, tilt skillets, fryers, ranges, flat top grills, mixers, heat sealers, flight type and door type dish machines, etc.
• Electrical, plumbing, and mechanical work as needed.
• Maintain records of repair history and inventory of equipment using work order management system.
• Source, schedule, and communicate material costs and timelines for repairs.
• Communicate and schedule with manufacturers/vendors for larger or more specific repair needs when warranted.

Who you are:

• Ability to work unaccompanied or under supervision.
• Punctuality and diligence.
• Ability to use a laptop & phone to communicate via emails, text messages, phone calls, and Do & Co internal work order management system.
• Proficiency in reading and writing.
• Ability to work safely with high and low voltage electrical equipment.
• Flexibility in work hours & schedule (ability to be “on-call”)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, heavy workload and standing for a prolonged period as necessary.
• Ability to move, lift, carry, pull, or push as needed.
• Flexibility (different shifts - night, weekends, holidays)
• Availability for travel both inside and outside the US if needed.
• 2+ years of work experience in refrigeration, kitchen equipment maintenance or comparable field
• Knowledge of refrigeration and electrical requirements.
• High School diploma preferred.
