Operates one or more types of power construction equipment and performs other duties associated with their assignments. The following duties and responsibilities compose this position. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Follows all safety policies and complies with MSHA/OSHA regulations.
- Performs work in a variety of locations, including but not limited to work at the pit, plants, job sites, and other assigned areas as per the supervisor.
- Operates to industry standards several types of power and hydraulic construction equipment, such as (not necessarily all inclusive): Compressors, pumps, hoists, shovels, scrapers, graders, finish graders, backhoes, motor graders, excavators, loaders, bobcats, bulldozers, forklifts, Man lift, Crusher, Wet Plant, concrete plants, asphalt plants.
- Performs other related duties, as assigned, or duties not necessarily mentioned above, but typically associated with this type of position as directed by supervisor or management.
