1 REPORTING RELATIONSHIP

Reports to the Director of Finance.

2 PURPOSE

2.1 Function

2.1.1 To install and maintain the enterprise resource planning (ERP) programs and solutions.

2.1.2 Determine ERP needs, design customized ERP solutions, and integrate ERP technologies with existing systems.

2.1.3 Responsible for assisting users with training and trouble areas during user usage.

2.1.4 Secure at cost, quality, and system performance levels consistent with company policy and performance standards.

3 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

3.1 Establishing ERP needs via business process analysis and consultation;

3.2 Analyzing existing infrastructure and performing IT system enhancements;

3.3 Writing customized programs and scripts, as well as configuring ERP applications;

3.4 Developing user-friendly functionalities and interfaces;

3.5 Installing ERP software and ensuring seamless integration with IT systems;

3.6 Performing diagnostic tests and resolving issues to optimize performance;

3.7 Providing technical support and training ERP end-users;

3.8 Preparing development progress updates and documenting ERP processes;

3.9 Adhering to company policies and industry regulations;

3.10 Keeping abreast of the latest ERP upgrades and offerings;

3.11 Develop detailed user requirements, identify system constraints, and coordinate solutions with solution architects, project managers, and document technical designs;

3.12 Analyze and document business process flows, functional and performance requirements, and system architecture;

3.13 Maintain and update project documentation, including project baselines, project plans, and SOWs;

3.14 Other duties as required.

5 SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITY

This position has no supervisory responsibility.

6 WORK ENVIRONMENT

This job operates in a manufacturing and professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.

7 QUALIFICATIONS

7.1 Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or similar preferred.

7.2 Certification in AS400, MAPICS or Infor XA ERP business process integration.

7.3 At least 2 years’ experience as an ERP specialist in a related industry. Manufacturing experience a plus.

7.4 A background in business administration, project management, or a related field will be advantageous.

7.5 In-depth knowledge of ERP development tools, coding languages, and business processes.

7.6 Great organizational and time management skills.

7.7 Exceptional interpersonal, collaboration, and communication abilities.

7.8 Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

8 PHYSICAL DEMANDS

8.1 The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

8.2 While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to type, file or lift office supplies up to 32 pounds. While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to talk and hear. The employee is often required to stand, sit and use their hands and fingers to handle or feel and to manipulate keys on a keyboard. The employee is occasionally required to stand, talk and hear, to handle, feel or operate objects, tools or controls, and reach with hands and arms. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

9 POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK

This is a full-time position. Typical days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. This position regularly requires extended hours and possible weekend work.

10 TRAVEL

Travel to other locations, training or other worksites is required.
